Calo Minas combines expertise in community development and creative storytelling. With hands-on experience in various sectors, from outreach to event documentation, Calo has built a reputation for fostering inclusive growth and sustainable development.

Professional Experience

Calo began their career at Children International (Bicol) Inc., teaching ICT and providing technical support for Alternative Learning System participants (2016-2019). They also facilitated training in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop, making learning accessible and engaging.

As a Pre-Service Teacher at Gogon Central School (2018-2019), Calo led several initiatives, including the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children, and was recognized as the DepEd Project WATCH Champion in 2019.

Calo’s talent in photography and event documentation shines through their work with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP), where they captured key moments of community events. They also served as the official photographer for the Legazpi City Ibalong Festival and 71st Calbayog City Charter Day Celebration.

Skills
