It wasn’t just another day in the field—it was the kind of day that proves good governance doesn’t always happen inside conference rooms. In fact, the SEA Team took the IPAT-SIAD evaluation outside—literally—turning the open space beside the barangay hall into our official workplace for the day, just a few steps away from the ever-tempting meryenda table.
With humor as bright as the midday sun, the team rebranded themselves as the SEA Maniningad Team, a title bestowed by our very own “Good Governance Wizard of Os,” known as the boss with unlimited patience. In true SEA fashion, the announcement didn’t stop at nicknames—because next week, we march toward greatness: CBL formulation. Yes, legit!
Charter, by-laws, and laughter included.
While other teams enjoy air-conditioned rooms, we proudly work with coffee, ballpens, and barangay wisdom. And as always, the work becomes more meaningful with partners like CSOs, barangay officials, and the local business sector—turning every session into a blend of cardio (thanks to the heat), comedy (thanks to ourselves), and community service (thanks to the mission).
Throughout the activity, the IPAT-SIAD process unfolded with equal parts diligence and delight. Each conversation with stakeholders became a reminder that governance grows stronger when everyone—from local leaders to grassroots movers—shares their voice, insight, and vision for progress.
At SEA, we don’t just evaluate.
We elevate—and yes, we entertain ourselves while waiting for snacks.
Because real governance isn’t confined within four walls.
Sometimes, it happens right outside the barangay hall, fueled by teamwork, sunshine, and a whole lot of good humor.
