What began as a simple orientation became something else entirely—
A spark.
A stirring.
A story worth following.
In Brgy. Dawis, New Lucena, something transformative is unfolding. What brought the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) together wasn’t a campaign, a mandate, or a fancy acronym—it was curiosity. But what they left with? Commitment.
Wait… IPAT what?
IPAT-SIAD—Integrated Participatory Accountability and Transparency towards Sustainable Integrated Area Development. (We know, it sounds like a whole thesis title.) But don’t let the technical name fool you. This is no bureaucratic buzzword. It’s a pulse. A process. A promise.
Rooted in the Philippine Agenda 21’s threefolding framework—Business, Civil Society, and Government—IPAT-SIAD is SEA Inc.’s call for harmony among sectors, with each playing a vital role in building sustainable, inclusive, and thriving communities.
Led by Heart, Driven by Purpose
The orientation wasn’t just an event—it was a beginning.
Guided by CF1 Ms. Angela Betita, whose calm strength anchored the group, and fueled by the dynamic energy of AMA volunteers Trixie Campuesto and Jacqueline Simpas, the session stirred something in the room. The trio didn’t just inform—they invited.
Invited people to speak.
To reflect.
To reimagine.
The participants weren’t passive. They weren’t there to simply nod and receive. They owned the conversation. There were questions. Aha moments. Small laughter. Long pauses. And then, clarity.
Dawis Does It Differently
In Dawis, they don’t just take notes—they take root.
They don’t just attend—they show up with soul.
They don’t just talk participation—they live it.
The CSOs here are beginning to see their place in something larger than their barangay’s borders. With IPAT-SIAD, they’re no longer just recipients of development—they’re co-creators of it.
And the secret sauce? Trust.
Trust in each other.
Trust in the process.
Trust that development doesn’t have to be done for us—but with us.
The Threefolding Spirit in Action
SEA Inc.’s IPAT-SIAD is built on a dream both radical and simple: when People’s Organizations, Government, and Civil Society walk together, sustainable change becomes possible. This is threefolding—not just theory, but lived truth in places like Dawis.
And if you stood in that room, you’d feel it.
You’d feel the shift.
From “What is this?” to “Where do I sign up?”
From “This is new” to “This is ours.”
What’s Next?
The seeds are in the soil.
The dialogue has begun.
The commitment is growing.
So watch this space. Because Brgy. Dawis isn’t just participating in IPAT-SIAD—
They’re becoming the very spirit of it.
And like all good things that grow from the ground up—this one’s rooted in hope.
Solution Ecosystems Activator (SEA) Inc. continues to journey with communities like Dawis, walking hand-in-hand with partners in the spirit of People. Purpose. Participation. Let’s keep watering the seeds of sustainable change—together.
