What do you get when inner peace meets weekly bonding? A Kamustahan that feels like a hug for the soul! In New Lucena, ICW (Inner Conditioning Workshop) isn’t just a one-time experience—it’s a lifestyle. Every weekly check-in with Municipal Coordinator Rosanna Constantino has become a space for healing, laughing, breathing—and yes, a few tears too (the good kind).

Fatima Salazar said it best:

“I don’t mind the negative voices or those watching me anymore. I just choose peace so there’s no drama.”
She said the ICW helped her release the weight she’s been silently carrying. Now, when life feels heavy, she closes her eyes and does heart breathing –  “It relaxes me,” she shared with a soft smile.

From overthinking to overcoming, these ICW sisters are blooming in the soil of self-awareness, just like what SEA Inc’s IPAT-SIAD stands for: participatory growth rooted in heart, honesty, and healing.

Myrna Baldeviso shared how the ICW not only changed her life—but is now changing her family’s.

“I told my daughter, who’s working abroad, to try mindfulness and heart breathing—and it helped her. I also shared it with my sister.”
Instead of worrying, she now practices surrender:

“When my child got sick, I prayed. I couldn’t do anything from here—but I believe in God’s love. My child recovered. We are truly loved by the Lord.”

Gertrudes Lebuna, a cancer survivor, chimed in with quiet strength:

“I want to join Lakaran again. During my illness, I spoke to God and He listened. That’s how I know I’m truly loved.”

Her belief? As long as your heart is clear, grace will always find you.

These Kamustahan sessions prove that governance is also about the inner work—and IPAT-SIAD is creating spaces where transformation isn’t just in barangay plans, but in breathing, believing, and becoming.

So here’s to more shared stories, silent breakthroughs, and sacred pauses in the middle of a noisy world.

New Lucena’s hearts are not just healing—they’re leading.
