When SEA Inc. and KALAHI CIDSS team up, it’s a partnership that promises community-driven change. Recently, SEA Inc. proudly participated in the orientation for this dynamic collaboration, and the energy was palpable as both organizations geared up for a game-changing project.

But what exactly is KALAHI CIDSS? The Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI CIDSS) is a government program under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), focused on empowering communities by providing them with the resources to identify and address their own development needs. Think of it as a platform where communities take the reins to improve their livelihoods—building infrastructure, improving access to services, and boosting local economies.

To make this vision a reality, SEA Inc. has offered its expertise by providing two Community Facilitators and one Assistant Area Coordinator to support the program’s implementation. These dedicated individuals will help guide communities in identifying projects, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring that every effort is driven by the needs and aspirations of the people themselves.
