The Inner Conditioning Workshop (ICW) has made waves in Sibagat, with participants diving into self-reflection, growth, and even a few good laughs along the way. From sun salutations to deep breathing, our Sibagat participants are finding new ways to tackle life’s challenges with resilience and grace. Here’s a closer look at their witty, wise, and wonderfully candid reflections.

Charmae: The Universe Has a Plan

This week, Charmae found herself pondering life’s twists and turns. “Everything in life is interconnected,” she says, quoting Einstein, “God doesn’t play dice with the universe.” With a new sense of purpose, she’s swapping “Why me?” for “What can I learn from this?”

Charmae’s morning routine now includes the sunflower exercise, which brightens her day as much as her growing outlook on life. She’s embracing ICW’s mind-heart coherence practice and finding patience, clarity, and a sense of calm. “Each day feels purposeful now,” she shares. Her mantra? With patience, perseverance, and a little divine grace, she’s committed to keeping this new perspective alive.

Myrna: Staying Grounded Through Hardships

Myrna faced a tough week as her son, who works as a security guard, lost his job due to drinking—a habit she’s tried to help him curb. Though it’s been challenging, she’s staying hopeful.

“The ICW’s morning exercise, where we face the sun, reminds me to stay grateful and grounded,” she says. She’s working on fortifying her heart for life’s trials and holding onto resilience, knowing that challenges can sometimes lead to new beginnings. Myrna’s focus? To support her family and remain strong, with a little help from her morning sun salutation.

Gysel: The Power of a Deep Breath

As a Barangay Health Worker, Gysel knows all about the pressures of community service. But last week, when she felt unappreciated in her group chat, she reached for her secret weapon: ICW’s breathing exercises.

“I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and calmed down,” she says. With newfound clarity, she suggested closing the health center for lunch and smoothed things over with an apology. Gysel now swears by the power of deep breathing to keep her emotions in check.

“Breathing exercises are powerful—they help me find emotional balance and clarity,” she reflects. It turns out a good inhale-exhale can work wonders for both the soul and the community.

Ronie: One Step at a Time

Ronie’s takeaway from ICW is all about patience and progress. “Slow progress toward my ultimate goal of reaching my full potential is better than none at all,” he reflects.

He’s learning that even the smallest steps can make a difference in his journey. “Every day is an opportunity to be a bit better,” he says with conviction.

For Ronie, it’s not about big leaps but about consistent, conscious improvement. After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day—and neither is a better self!

Through their reflections, Sibagat’s ICW participants remind us that personal growth isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. Whether it’s breathing through frustration, facing the sun, or simply taking things one step at a time, each participant brings their unique perspective to the table. Here’s to the journey, the lessons learned, and a few laughs along the way!
