Barangay Cadagmayan Sur, Santa Barbara, Iloilo didn’t just hold a meeting — it shaped its future.

In a vibrant General Assembly, CSOs, business groups, BLGU officials, and residents came together to formally adopt the Barangay Strategic Plan along with its Vision and Mission. These weren’t just statements on paper — they were commitments owned by the community.

Because a vision without participation? Just a poster on the wall.

A vision owned by the people? That’s governance in action.

Ideas flowed. Voices were heard. Directions were clarified. And one truth resonated loud and clear: progress works best when everyone is in the room.

As one participant aptly put it,

“Kung malinaw ang plano, mas matatag ang bukas.”

Cadagmayan Sur chose alignment over assumption, collaboration over silence, and long-term direction over short-term convenience.

This is how communities grow — not by chance, but by choice. Together.
