Real change begins inside.

In the heat of the sun or under heavy rains, through bursts of laughter and quiet moments, the Inner Conditioning Workshop (ICW) graduates of Sibagat, Agusan del Sur continue to come together for their weekly kamustahan. From Batch 1 to Batch 3, one message echoes: true transformation starts within.

Every deep thought, every slow and steady breath—ICW isn’t just a workshop. It’s a journey inward.

As Batch 1’s Myrna Buera puts it:

“The walking sessions felt like a pilgrimage. So calming, like walking your worries away. Not just your feet moving—but your inner self too.”

Her favorite? The sunflower exercise.
“It was like spinning away the stress and mental clutter!”

For Vivian Bagasbas of Batch 3, the breakthrough was simple but life-changing:

“First time I really asked myself: Who am I?
Her answers came with mindfulness and heart breathing.

“When the mind and heart work together, you find light even in your darkest parts.”

John Christian Perater from Batch 2 shared,

“ICW changed the way I see life. I feel like a new version of myself. Now, every decision I make is rooted in reflection and prayer.”

Meanwhile, Nenita Manaya noticed a shift not just in herself, but at home:

“I’ve learned self-control. No more nagging at my kids! ICW taught me that peace does start inside the home.”

ICW isn’t just a personal reset—it’s part of SEA Inc.’s bigger vision through IPAT-SIAD (Integrated Participatory Accountability and Transparency towards Sustainable Integrated Area Development).

A renewed self leads to a renewed community.

When one becomes mindful, grounded, and humble, it becomes easier to create real participatory governance.

As Charmae Balais beautifully put it:

“We need to change our core first before we expect others to change. ICW helps us do that—so we can lead with compassion and understanding.”

ICW isn’t just an event. It’s a seed. And in Sibagat’s rich soil of stories, a community is growing—one rooted in inner peace and blossoming with shared transformation.

Onward with the journey, Sibagat!
Thanks for another week of heartfelt sharing. Until the next deep breath, insight, and hugotkitakits!
