After four transformative weeks of the Inner Conditioning Workshop (ICW), several participants from Santa Barbara have shared their profound and witty reflections, offering a glimpse into how the experience has reshaped their lives.
One participant was struck by a flood of memories during the Lakaran, a reflective walk that symbolizes life’s journey. As each step brought him closer to understanding his path, he realized that the trials and triumphs he faced were preparing him for greater responsibility. “Every step I took felt like walking through chapters of my life,” he shared. “Now, I see that my struggles are shaping me for something bigger.”
Another participant, an experienced NGO worker, found a new sense of affirmation through ICW. “It feels good to know that I’m on the right track, doing what I was meant to do.” She reflected on how her time in the workshop reaffirmed her dedication to community work. When approached by the LGU to consult, she designed a project called BUGANA, which was born out of her expertise and passion for organizing communities. “I used to wonder if my work made a difference, but ICW reminded me that this is my purpose.”
For many ICW graduates, understanding life’s purpose became a central theme. One participant emphasized that everything we do serves a greater purpose. “God created us because we all have a mission here on Earth,” he reflected. Despite balancing a busy schedule with work and family responsibilities, he stays grounded in his purpose. “It’s not always easy, but knowing I have a purpose makes everything worthwhile.”
These reflections from Santa Barbara participants reveal how ICW serves as more than just a workshop—it’s a mirror that allows individuals to reconnect with their life’s purpose. Whether through reflecting on the past, reaffirming a career path, or finding balance in everyday life, each participant has walked away with a renewed sense of self and a deeper understanding of their role in their community.
