Ronie Z. Bautista
Senior Community Facilitator- Mindanao Expansion
Ronie is a trailblazer with over 30 years of experience as a Community Development Worker and Educator. A proud graduate of BS Community Development and Diploma in Teaching at ISAT-U, he furthered his academic journey with postgraduate degrees in Soil and Water Conservation from UPLB and Local Governance from Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology.
Ronie’s career spans teaching Social Science and Community Development courses at ISAT-U, guiding high school agriculture students at Gamot Cogon Waldorf School, and leading initiatives with NGOs on transformative projects like KALAHI (DSWD), Fishery Resource Management (BFAR-ADB), and Save the Children programs. As an environmentalist and cooperative advocate, he’s been a steadfast member of ISAT-U’s Education Committee since 2008.
His accolades include being named ISAT-U’s “Most Outstanding Community Development Worker” in 2001, reflecting his passion for peace-building, leadership, and societal reintegration programs. Now the Senior Community Facilitator of SEA Inc., Ronie steers the Mindanao Expansion (IPAT-SIAD) Program with the same dedication that has defined his inspiring journey.
