When it comes to protecting our planet, these communities proved they’re not just spectators—they’re champions of change! In a unified display of environmental stewardship, tree planting, and coastal clean-up drives swept across Ajuy, rallying people of all ages to take part.

At Barangay Nabalian, Barrido, a wave of 310 participants led by Culasi National High School turned their clean-up into a masterclass in teamwork and dedication. Over at Brgy. Pantalan Nabaye, Johnny Cristoba,l, and his 38-strong team took charge, proving that every effort, big or small, makes a difference.

The spirit of collaboration peaked during International Coastal Clean-Up Day, where the Barangay Pedada Fisherfolk Association teamed up with the Zoological Society of London’s Philippines chapter. Together with 56 students and parents from Pedada Elementary School, they gave the coastline and mangroves a much-needed fresh start.

These initiatives weren’t just about tidying up—they were celebrations of community, responsibility, and hope. From restoring mangroves to reclaiming coastlines, each act of care was a promise to the planet and future generations.
