When the participants from Brgy. Duyan-duyan first stepped into the Inner Conditioning Workshop (ICW), they had one thing in mind: that this was all about the IPAT SIAD Program. Little did they know that the real journey was inward—a self-discovery mission that would challenge them to understand their purpose and reconnect with their core values.
The ICW became a turning point for many. It wasn’t just about learning frameworks or following guidelines; it was about understanding the essence of who they are and their role in contributing to the success of IPAT SIAD and their communities. One participant candidly shared, “I thought this workshop was purely technical. Turns out, it was about learning to condition my heart and mind in ways that will better serve my barangay.”
As they progressed, participants realized that to truly empower their communities, they had to first empower themselves. The workshop introduced them to the concept of heart and brain coherence—an exercise they identified as a key tool for nurturing their inner condition. This technique, which bridges emotions and logic, helped them stay grounded in their intentions while remaining focused on their goals for community empowerment.
Beyond frameworks and methodologies, this workshop was a reminder that the greatest asset to any program is the people behind it. With a renewed sense of purpose and motivation, the participants are now more equipped to take their newfound insights and make meaningful contributions to the capacitation and empowerment of their communities.
As one participant put it, “ICW helped me realize that our biggest contribution to the IPAT SIAD Program is not just through action but through the condition of our hearts and minds.”
