On January 30, 2025, in the warmth of Pinili Restaurant, a gathering took place—one that was more than just a meeting. It was a homecoming of hearts, a reunion of minds, and a reaffirmation of purpose. Eight graduates of the Inner Conditioning Workshop (ICW) came together under the guidance of SEA Inc., each carrying stories of transformation, growth, and newfound wisdom.

The session began not with words but with breath. A simple yet profound heart-breathing exercise set the tone—a reminder that before we can pour into others, we must first ground ourselves. Then came a question: “What was your best experience during the ICW? Describe it in one word.” What followed was a symphony of insights, each participant offering a single word that encapsulated their journey.

Aida chose silence, explaining how it gave her the power to think more deeply and avoid unnecessary mistakes. “Knowing when to speak and when to listen is a skill we often overlook,” she said. Elvalyn’s word was meeting, reflecting on the value of learning from people of different backgrounds. “Interacting with teachers and nurses opened my mind to perspectives I had never considered before.”

Divina, from Jelicuon, chose lakaran (walks), as she found that walking allowed her to reflect on the interconnectedness of human life and nature. “Even Fibonacci’s sequence exists in the world around us. Science is not separate from life—it is woven into it.” Dyana, on the other hand, described her experience as transformational. “What I learned and experienced in ICW, I still carry with me today. I even continue the heart-breathing exercises because I know they help me.”

For Divinia, the word was relax. She recalled moments of tension with her child and how the ICW experience taught her to pause before reacting. “Instead of escalating issues, I remind myself to breathe and let go.” Jennifer echoed this, saying, “I relax my mind so stress won’t consume me.”

Elbert chose honesty, emphasizing how ICW taught him the importance of living with integrity. “Wherever you go, honesty follows like a shadow. It brings peace of mind.” Lerma also found solace in relaxation, especially during a difficult time when her child was hospitalized. “At ICW, I found a sense of peace. My heart and mind united, and I came to understand that what we deeply believe in, we manifest.”

As the participants shared their reflections, Ms. Angelic synthesized their thoughts beautifully: Each of us has a different experience, but SEA Inc. will always be here to listen. We are not alone in this journey. We are here to lift each other up and influence our communities.

The meeting was not just about looking back—it was about moving forward. The graduates agreed to hold weekly face-to-face kamustahan sessions in their barangays, ensuring continuous support for all ICW attendees. A monthly reunion for all graduates was also scheduled, reinforcing the commitment to sustained mentorship. A heartfelt request emerged from the group—an ICW session for the youth during summer, recognizing their energy and openness to growth.

As the clock struck 3:00 PM, the meeting came to a close, but the impact lingered. This was not just a gathering; it was a reminder that mentorship is not a one-time event but a continuous journey. As SEA Inc. nurtures these mentors, they, in turn, will become beacons of hope for their communities.

To those who have walked this path: your journey does not end here. It is only the beginning. “What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.” May the lessons of ICW continue to ripple outward, touching lives and shaping futures.
