For Jackelyn Muzones, the recent Inner Conditioning Workshop (ICW) was a profound experience that allowed her to explore the deeply rooted beliefs, patterns, and narratives that had unknowingly shaped her life. “It allowed me to explore my beliefs, patterns, and the underlying narratives that influence my decisions and interactions,” she reflects, noting how easily our conditioning can go unnoticed while dictating much of our behavior.
One of the most valuable takeaways for Jackelyn was the importance of self-awareness. “By examining my thoughts and feelings, I learned to identify limiting beliefs that were holding me back from pursuing my goals,” she says. The exercises during the workshop, like group discussions, the LAKARAN, and guided meditations, offered Jackelyn powerful insights into her own inner world. These activities helped her confront the narratives that were limiting her potential, opening her eyes to how she could begin to challenge these beliefs.
The workshop also emphasized the significance of connection with others, creating an environment where participants could share their experiences and learn from different perspectives. “Sharing our experiences and listening to different perspectives fostered a sense of community and support,” Jackelyn shares. It was reassuring for her to realize that many of her struggles and aspirations were not unique, and hearing others’ stories helped diminish her feelings of isolation. It became clear that everyone’s journey is interwoven with both challenges and triumphs.
But the most surprising revelation for Jackelyn was how often she engaged in negative self-talk. “I realized that I have a tendency to dismiss my accomplishments and focus on perceived shortcomings instead,” she says. She also uncovered a habit of comparing herself to others, which distorted her sense of self-worth. Recognizing these patterns was a breakthrough moment for her, underscoring the importance of self-compassion. “It was an eye-opening experience,” she adds, “highlighting the need to consciously challenge these thoughts and treat myself with more kindness.”
Since the workshop, Jackelyn has cultivated more self-compassion and mindfulness in her daily routine. “I set aside time for mindfulness meditation, which helps me become more aware of my thoughts and feelings without judgment,” she explains. She’s also made a habit of writing down things she appreciates about herself, which has fostered a positive mindset. “I remind myself that everyone has their unique journey and struggles,” she continues, “which helps reduce the urge to compare myself to others. I believe that I am unique and will overcome the challenges in my life.”
Ultimately, the ICW encouraged Jackelyn to not only practice mindfulness but also to develop a more compassionate relationship with herself. “I left with renewed motivation to challenge my inner narratives, embrace vulnerability, and take actionable steps toward creating the life I envision,” she reflects. Through this process, Jackelyn not only transformed her own self-awareness but also contributed to the underlying philosophy that now drives SEA Inc.’s IPAT-SIAD program—a philosophy rooted in self-discovery, personal growth, and collective empowerment. By embracing her own inner transformation, she is now equipped to foster the same kind of change in the communities SEA Inc. serves, inspiring others to embrace their unique journeys and grow together.
