In the heart of Ajuy, Iloilo, a heartfelt mission is unfolding—one conversation at a time. Under the DSWD Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program, Mr. Ronie Z. Bautista, Acting Executive Director of SEA Inc., is championing the art of communication through Family Development Sessions (FDS). His focus? Helping families connect, understand, and grow stronger together.
Brgy. Mangorocoro was the first to experience the transformative session on February 17, 2017, where parents learned the power of “Communicating with Young Children”. The session buzzed with practical tips, shared experiences, and a lively exchange of ideas, leaving participants inspired to build deeper connections at home.
The momentum continued in Brgy. Bato-Biasong, where 69 beneficiaries eagerly joined the discussion. Here, communication was not just a topic but a bridge—one that families could walk across to nurture understanding and trust.
In Brgy. San Antonio, the FDS reached even greater heights with 94 participants diving into meaningful conversations about strengthening bonds through everyday interactions. Parents left equipped not only with skills but also with a renewed commitment to their roles as mentors and allies to their children.
These sessions are more than just talks—they’re transformative steps in the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program’s mission to uplift lives.
