After four enlightening weeks of the Inner Conditioning Workshop (ICW), SEA Inc. staff shared their transformative experiences, blending humor and wisdom in their reflections.

“For years, I doubted workshops like this, but my outlook shifted after attending the Inner Conditioning Workshop. I used to let negativity rule my thoughts and emotions. Now, I’ve learned to approach life with positivity and emotional control. As a Community Facilitator, I apply this newfound understanding of self-awareness and resilience in my work. The workshop taught me that the effectiveness of any intervention depends on the ‘inner conditioning of the intervenor.’ This personal transformation is helping me foster empathy and trust in the communities I serve. It’s empowering me to lead with purpose and make meaningful changes.”

“The Inner Conditioning Workshop was my first time diving deep into understanding my authentic self, and I’m grateful for the opportunity. I realized that finding your true self doesn’t happen overnight; it’s a process. As an AMA volunteer, this workshop resonated with our own Orientation Seminar in AMA. It planted a seed in me—teaching me to be mindful of my emotions and actions. This has improved how I communicate, not only with my coworkers but with the community as well.”

“I’ve attended numerous workshops, but Inner Conditioning hit differently. The ‘Lakaran’ experience, where we walked and reflected on motivational quotes, had a profound impact on me. Before becoming a volunteer, I always sought perfection and often ended up disappointed in myself. The workshop made me realize that making mistakes is part of the learning journey. Knowing myself is like taking a long walk—before I can become my higher self, I need to accept the imperfections and lessons along the way.”

“I’ve participated in the Inner Conditioning Workshop several times, and each time, the lessons sink deeper. Now, as a community facilitator, I always remind myself of SEA Inc.’s mission to Serve, Transform, and Sustain. This helps me stay grounded, even when the going gets tough. I could easily seek another job, but the mission is more than a career—it’s my purpose. Every time I feel like giving up, I remember why I started.”

Gideon
“Time management can be a beast, but it’s all about finding the balance,” he mused. He quoted a fellow participant: “Within every trial lies the potential solution.” It’s this mindset that propels them forward, turning challenges into opportunities.

Cheryl
“I’ve attended many workshops, but this one stands out. It was a double-edged sword that struck both my physical and mental strength. It detoxed my body while clearing my mind. As a writer, I used to focus on quick strikes for profit, but the Inner Conditioning Workshop taught me to slow down, be mindful, and prioritize my health. Working with SEA Inc. has opened my eyes to the power of words—not just to benefit myself, but to uplift communities. We’re not just spreading good governance; we’re laying the foundation for change that will ripple out to impact the nation.”

“In our ‘Kamustahan,’ I realized the importance of collaboration and values. Time management was a big stressor as we balanced our personal and professional lives. Yet, despite the challenges, we rise each day with hope and resilience. It’s not the obstacles that define us, but how we choose to overcome them. When faced with trials, we remember to seek solutions and move forward with determination.”

Ms. Rosanna Constantino Lately, I’ve been embracing the art of letting go—and it’s been liberating. I’ve made peace with the fact that some things are simply out of my control, and that’s okay. Worrying about what I cannot change? That’s a weight I no longer carry. Instead, I’ve shifted my focus toward things I can nurture: my spiritual well-being and my mindset.

Every day, I make it a point to listen to the Gospel online, which has become my spiritual anchor. As the saying goes, “Faith is not knowing what the future holds, but knowing who holds the future.” This simple act of reflection has helped me keep my faith firm and unshaken, even when life throws its curveballs.

Rather than dwelling on negative thoughts or feelings, I choose to fill my mind with positivity and grace. As I continue to reflect and reconnect with my spiritual self, I’m reminded that peace begins within—and that, in itself, is a powerful gift.

“I now understand the power I hold to control my programmed self, preventing my past habits from taking over. It’s a painful process to develop my authentic self, but I know the rewards are worth it. Every mistake and shortcoming becomes a stepping stone toward becoming a better servant and a better individual. This workshop has shown me that discovering and developing my authentic self is a lifelong journey, but one that will ultimately lead to personal fulfillment and success.”

Each of these reflections highlights the profound personal and professional growth that SEA Inc. staff have experienced through the Inner Conditioning Workshop. It’s a journey that transforms not just how they see themselves, but how they engage with the communities they serve. Their insights serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of self-awareness, resilience, and purpose-driven action in creating lasting change.
