On July 24, 2014, the future of farming in Zarraga took a bold, green step forward with the launch of the Zarraga Organic Agriculture Roadmapping session. With LGU Organic Farmer-practitioners, the Technical Working Group (TWG), and SEA Inc. as Co-Chairman, the group gathered to plan the 2015-2017 Zarraga Organic Agriculture Program—a roadmap designed to take organic farming to the next level.

The session wasn’t just a meeting; it was a brainstorming bonanza where the town’s agricultural future was cultivated with care and attention. With SEA Inc. at the helm alongside dedicated farmer-practitioners and technical experts, the program aims to boost the local organic farming movement, increase production, and make Zarraga a hub for healthy, sustainable food.

The plan? To empower farmers with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to grow and thrive organically while fostering a healthier, more sustainable future for the community. The roadmap outlines clear goals for the next few years—focusing on capacity building, resource sharing, and connecting local farmers to broader markets.
