Promoting Effective Communication in Family Development Sessions for 4P’s Beneficiaries
In a bid to empower and enhance the lives of 4P’s beneficiaries, Mr. Ronie Z. Bautista, the Acting Executive Director of SEA Inc., recently conducted Family Development Sessions (FDS) as part of the DSWD Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program. These sessions aimed to address key topics, with a recent focus on “Communicating with Young Children.”
The first session took place in Brgy. Mangorocoro, Ajuy, on February 17, 2017, where Mr. Bautista led a dynamic discussion on effective communication within families. This session provided valuable insights and strategies to help parents and caregivers foster strong connections with their young children.
Continuing the commitment to community development, another FDS was organized in Brgy. Bato-Biasong, Ajuy, Iloilo, engaging a group of 69 beneficiaries. The emphasis remained on the vital skill of communicating with young children, recognizing its pivotal role in nurturing healthy family dynamics.
Furthermore, the impact extended to Brgy. San Antonio, Ajuy, Iloilo, where a Family Development Session was conducted for 94 beneficiaries. The interactive discussions centered around practical ways to strengthen the bond between parents and their children through effective communication.
These FDS initiatives play a crucial role in the broader framework of the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program, aiming not only to provide financial assistance but also to equip beneficiaries with essential life skills. By focusing on communication within families, these sessions contribute to the holistic development of individuals and communities.
