SEA ACCOMPLISHMENTS for 2016 – Solution Ecosystems Activator, Inc.

ACCOMPLISMENTS:

Conducted Seminars on DILG Memo Circular 2016-97 (2106 Accreditation of CSOs and Selection of Representatives to the Special Bodies). ZARNET and some members of ZBC were updated with whom they gained knowledge of the provisions of DILG MC 2016-97 and guidelines, proper procedures of CSO accreditation and selection of their representative in the Special Bodies.
Initiated the filing of a resolution complaint of ZARNET member organizations against the irregular procedures/processes of accreditation of CSOs to DILG.
SEA defended the position of ZARNET with regards to the defective and irregularities committed by the Sangguniang Bayan (during the accreditation process) in the dialogue between CSOs, LGU and DILG Province as remedial measures to amicably settle the resolution complaint filed by ZARNET.
Facilitated the updating and validating the list of OSY in 16 barangays of Zarraga, Iloilo.
Assisted the PYAP federation officers in Organizing 13 Chapters of Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) in 16 barangays.
Presented a Project C(Environmental Governance) to the Faculty and student leaders of the Zarraga National High School (ZNHS) in a meeting, which received positive reaction and was translated to a commitment of support for project implementation. A project orientation was schedule on Dec. 9, 2016 (2-3 P.M.)
Conducted a dialogue meeting with 2 newly elected Sangguniang Bayan Members (SB Matutina and Casiple) regarding SIAD and SEA, Inc.
Conducted one on one dialogue meeting with identified progressive civil service professionals about SIAD and received their support and commitment
Provided technical and manpower assistance to MSWDO personnel and PYAP Federation Officers on the following:
- Survey /validation on site of OSY
- Organizing the OSY into PYAP Barangay Chapters
- Formulation of Constitution and By-Laws of the PYAP federation
- Completion of accreditation requirements to the SB
Provided manpower and technical assistance to DSWD “Pantawid” staff and Parent Leaders in the following:
- Formulation of their Vision, Mission and Goals (VMG)
- Documented success stories of 4P’s beneficiaries
Facilitated and acted as resource person in conducting Family Development Sessions (FDS) of 4P’s beneficiaries
Provided manpower assistance to ZARNET by:
- designing the ZARNET’s brochure
- acted as ZARNET secretariat
- Assisted ZARNET members in complying with the accreditation process to the SB
Identified and prioritized development concerns/agenda which was incorporated to the “Kontrata sa Banwa” and will be part of CSOs and Business group advocacy to the MDC
Successfully established and maintained the ZARNET web site.
Successfully held the 1st “Ulat sa Bayan” report last October 11, 2016 which was participated in and attended by more than 700 people coming from different sectors of 24 barangays of Zarraga covered and aired by the media (print, radio and tv)
On the final process of completing the CSOs inventory (lacking 2 CSOs)
In process of completing the Business inventory (lacking 1 business org.)
Consulted the DILG on the possibility of renaming the Municipal Development Council into Zarraga Sustainable Development Council (ZSDC) and the opinion of the DILG, it could only be possible unless there will be amendments in the provision of RA 7160 (The 1991 Local Government Code)
Partial inventory list existing and emerging municipal and national development programs.
Partially activated the Tri-sectoral Program Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation (PIME) process, however it is only composed of two sectors- the CSOs and Business).
Reviewed and collected information to be uploaded to SEA website by the end of the month.
Conducted due diligence to 2 new areas (Ajuy, Iloilo and Belison, Antique) thru area visits/assessment and series of meetings with identified LGUs officials.
Secured Letter of Intent of two interested LGUs, while other requirements for MOA signing were on process. MOA signing will be schedule a soon as the other requirements will be completed and submitted.
Made the financial report for the organization.
Executed MOA with DSWD Region 6.
